The Prehistoric Society and Later Prehistoric Finds Group will be holding a joint day conference on Monday 20 April 2015 at the Museum of London and the British Museum.

The morning session begins with a guided foreshore walk led by Thames
prehistorians Jon Cotton (MOLA), Gustav Milne (UCL), Courtney Nimura (MOLA) and Jane Sidell (English Heritage). The walk will be followed by Thames artefacts handling sessions with British Museum curators Neil Wilkin and
Julia Farley or Museum of London curator Caroline McDonald and finds specialist Michael Marshall (MOLA). Tickets are £12.
The afternoon session is hosted by the British Museum and is open to all. It will feature papers from six speakers including: Stuart Needham (Prehistoric Society), Jane Sidell (English Heritage), Sally Worrell (Portable Antiquities Scheme) and Alex Davies (Cardiff University).
