This document summarizes a presentation on tackling hate speech through media education. It discusses a study on hate speech in Belgian online French-language press which involved interviews and case study analysis. It identified tensions in online participation and moderation. The presentation also described an educational package called "Draw Me Freedom of Speech" which uses cartoons to address discrimination and hate speech.
