10. Po przyjeździe do Szwajcarii, będziecie zaskoczeni cenami żywności. Ponoć Szwajcaria to kraj,
gdzie produkty spożywcze osiągają najbardziej zawrotne ceny. Jednak nie powinno się
porównywać tych cen z polskimi, gdyż średnie zarobki w tym alpejskim kraju przewyższają
kilkakrotnie wypłaty polskie.
37 franków (104 zł) za kilogram cielęciny, czy 15 franków (42 zł) za kilogram parówek to może
wpędzić człowieka w wegetarianizm.
Nabiał również jest drogi. Najtańszy jogurt to 60 rapenów (1,70 złotego), a litr mleka 1,5 franka
(4,20 zł). Kilogramowy chleb 2,80 CHF (7,80 zł).
11. Szwajcaria posiada bardzo ciekawe zwyczaje
kulinarne. Chyba każdy słyszał o fondue lub raclette.
To narodowe posiłki szwajcarskie, tak ważne jak np.

najczęściej jest to rogalik, słynny "croissant" i kawa. W
Szwajcarii obowiązuje przerwa obiadowa, w czasie
której praktycznie wszystkie instytucje i mniejsze sklepy
są zamknięte. Zazwyczaj jest to między 12.00 a 14.00.
Na kolację królują sery, warto upiec szwajcarską
pizzę serową.
12. Jeśli żyjemy w ciągłym pośpiechu i stresie, nie mamy czasu na
przygotowanie posiłku, możemy skorzystać z gościnności
restauracji i barów szybkiej obsługi.

„racler” co znaczy zdrapywać. Dosłownie zdrapuje się ser
stopiony na powierzchni krążka sera. Potrawa stała się
jedną z serowych tradycyjnych dań kuchni szwajcarskiej.
Fondue to zabawa kulinarna wokół jednego garnka.
Dania fondue są bardzo różnorodne: można roztopić sery,
w oleju lub rosole można smażyć kawałki mięs, owoców
morza lub warzyw. Na deser jada się fondue z owocami i
czekoladą.
Kanton Berno słynie ze swojego dania ziemniaczanego
Rösti.
15. W Szwajcarii znajdziemy dotychczas nam nie znane sieci sklepów takie
jak : Migros,, Coop. Są tam także sklepy , które spotkamy w Polsce,a także
w innych częściach Europy : Lidl, Aldi.
Gdy nie mamy czasu na większe zakupy pozostają nam małe sklepy.
16. Tak tak, Szwajcaria to kraj czekolady i to
najlepszej na świecie.
W ubiegłym roku w Szwajcarii skonsumowano
80000 ton czekolady. Najpopularniejszym
wśród Polaków producentem szwajcarskiej
czekolady jest Lindt.
Popularne w Szwajcarii "confiserie" to
odpowiednik polskiej cukierni, gdzie można
kupić różne wyroby czekoladowe i cukiernicze,
wypić kawę, czy herbatę.
