3. IT -2017
A group of bullied kids band together when a
shapeshifting demon, taking the appearance of a
clown, begins hunting children

4. Mother - 2017
A couple's relationship is tested
when uninvited guests arrive at
their home, disrupting their
tranquil existence.

5. The Boy - 2015
An American nanny is shocked that her new
English family's boy is actually a life-sized doll.
After she violates a list of strict rules,
disturbing events make her believe that the
doll is really alive.

6. Annabel - 2014
A couple begins to experience terrifying
supernatural occurrences involving a vintage
doll shortly after their home is invaded by
satanic cultists.

7. Finders Keepers - 2014
A divorced mother of one is thrown into
turmoil when her young daughter becomes
obsessed with an evil doll left behind by the
previous occupants of their new home.

8. Cult Of Chucky - 2017
Chucky returns to terrorize his human
victim, Nica. Meanwhile, the killer doll

enemies, with the help of his former
wife.

Two strangers awaken in a room with
no recollection of how they got there or
why, and soon discover they are pawns
in a deadly game perpetrated by a
notorious serial killer.

10. The Conjuring Two - 2016
Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to
North London to help a single
mother raising 4 children alone in a
house plagued by a supernatural
spirit.

11. Lights Out - 2016
Rebecca must unlock the terror behind her
little brother's experiences that once tested
her sanity, bringing her face to face with an
entity attached to their mother.

12. The Bye Bye Man – 2017
Three friends stumble upon the horrific
origins of a mysterious figure they discover
is the root cause of the evil behind
unspeakable acts.

13. Results
After carefully analysing these array of horror movie synopses I have realised
that there is not specific reference for location in many of them. And example of
this is The Bye Bye Man.
However they all do mention the charcters, if not by name, but generally. Also a
slight hint at the plot is mentioned without giving too much information away. For
example in the synopsis for Cult of Chucky it is mentioned that he will be
terrorizing a human victim with his former wife. This allows the audience to
expect to see Chucky and his wife preying on a human.
This is going to allow us to formulate a high quality synopsis for our upcoming
blockbuster ‘Pengyeulan’
