Μία από τις βασικές αρχές για τη διεξαγωγή των Ερευνητικών Εργασιών, η αρχή της «ομαδοσυνεργατικής προσέγγισης της μάθησης» (cooperative learning), οργανώνει τους μαθητές της τάξης σε ομάδες, ο τρόπος σύνθεσης των οποίων επηρεάζει την απόδοσή τους και το τελικό αποτέλεσμα της εργασίας τους.
Στην παρούσα εργασία παρουσιάζονται, επεξηγούνται συγκρίνονται με άλλες και αξιολογούνται δύο προτεινόμενες μέθοδοι σύνθεσης μαθητικών ομάδων, κατάλληλες για την υλοποίηση Ερευνητικών Εργασιών και συσχετίζονται με παράγοντες και προβλήματα που οι εκπαιδευτικοί αναφέρουν. Η τεκμηρίωση βασίζεται σε αποτελέσματα έρευνας σε 732 συνολικά project (Ερευνητικές Εργασίες και Ειδικές Θεματικές Δραστηριότητες) που υλοποιήθηκαν σε σχολεία της Κρήτης το σχολικό έτος 2013-2014.
Οι εκπαιδευτικοί απάντησαν σε ερωτήσεις ηλεκτρονικού ερωτηματολογίου που στάλθηκαν σε όλα τα λύκεια της Κρήτης. Συμπεραίνεται ότι ο τρόπος σύνθεσης των μαθητικών ομάδων συσχετίζεται με αρκετά από τα αναφερόμενα από τους εκπαιδευτικούς προβλήματα υλοποίησης των Ερευνητικών Εργασιών, με τους υπό μελέτη τρόπους να αποδεικνύονται κατάλληλοι για εφαρμογή.

5. Σε πρώτη φάση θα θέλαμε να σας εισαγάγουμε στο
αντικείμενο της Μάθησης από Ομότιμους. Γι αυτό θα
περιγράψουμε τη σημασία της μάθησης από
ομότιμους και πώς μπορεί να καθοριστεί:

Σκοπός Μαθήματος
6. Βασιζόμενοι σε κάποιο είδος μετά-ανάλυσης που
πραγματοποίησε ο TOPPING μπορούν να ειπωθούν τα
ακόλουθα (p. 635):
• Τα στοιχεία δείχνουν ότι η μάθηση από ομοτίμους
επηρεάζει θετικά τα ακαδημαϊκά επιτεύγματα
• Υπάρχει κέρδος σε μεταβιβάσιμες κοινωνικές και
επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες καθώς και σε
συναισθηματική λειτουργικότητα
• Αποδοτική στρατηγική μάθησης (υψηλή επίδραση
με χαμηλό κόστος παράδοσης)
Θετικές Επιδράσεις
7. • Παρέχει ίσες ευκαιρίες για όλους τους συμμετέχοντες
και έχει μια περιεκτική βάση . Ο καθένας μπορεί να
συμμετάσχει το οποία καθιστά τα άτομα να αισθάνονται
ότι έχουν αξία και ότι αξίζει τον κόπο τους
• Τα άτομα που βοηθιούνται είναι πιο πιθανό να
βοηθήσουν άλλους στο μέλλον
• Αυτοί που βοηθούν πρέπει να έχουν βαθιές γνώσεις του
αντικειμένου κάτι το οποίο επιδρά θετικά στις
δεξιότητές τους, ενώ αποκτούν έμμεσα επιπλέον
δεξιότητες στην παροχή βοήθειας, επικοινωνία κτλ, οι
οποίες είναι με τη σειρά τους μεταβιβάσιμες

8. Μάθηση από Ομότιμους:
“η απόκτηση γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων μέσα από την
ενεργή βοήθεια και την υποστήριξη μεταξύ ισότιμων ή
ταιριαστών συντρόφων.” (p. 631).
‘ισότιμοι ή ταιριαστοί σύντροφοι’:
“άνθρωποι από παρόμοια κοινωνικά γκρουπ που δεν
είναι επαγγελματίες εκπαιδευτές και βοηθούν ο ένας
τον άλλο να λάβουν νέα γνώση” (p. 631).
TOPPING
9. • Αρκετά γενικός ορισμός που αναφέρει ότι η ιδέα
πίσω από τη Μάθηση από Ομότιμους δεν είναι κάτι
νέο / καινοτόμο
• Η Μάθηση από Ομότιμους δεν είναι μια έννοια μόνο
για on-line σενάρια
• Εστιάζει στην ενεργό βοήθεια και υποστήριξη
μεταξύ ομότιμων μελών - είναι μια διαδικασία quid
pro-quo
• Δεν υπάρχουν επαγγελματίες καθηγητές ή
εκπαιδευτές
TOPPING
10. Η σημασία των ομοτίμων (peers) :
“Οι ομότιμοι είναι απαραίτητοι για τη διαδικασία της
μάθησης. Δεν ενθαρρύνουν μόνο τη δική σας
διαδικασία μάθησης με την παροχή συστάσεων για
υλικά, συνδέσμους και κάθε είδους περιεχόμενο, που
παρήγαγαν το οποίο μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε για
να εισαγάγει τον εαυτό σας σε οποιοδήποτε θέμα,
αλλά μπορούν να παράσχουν την αντανάκλαση της
δικής σας μάθησης, ένα θέμα συζήτησης και
επικύρωσης για τον εαυτό σας.” (p. 104)

11. Χαρακτηριστικά των ομότιμων:
“…ένας ομότιμος είναι ή θα πρέπει να είναι,
ανοιχτόμυαλος, οξυδερκής και εν γνώσει των
δυνατοτήτων και υποχρεώσεών του σε σχέση με κόπο,
προσοχή και ρυθμό απόκρισης. Οι ομότιμοι
αναμένεται να κατέχουν πολύ καλές δεξιότητες
συσχέτισης και αυτοκριτικής και να επιδεικνύουν καλή
διαχείριση σχέσεων και βαθιές γνώσεις σε
συγκεκριμένο γνωστικό αντικείμενο.” (p. 104)

12. Χαρακτηριστικά των ομότιμων:
“Τα μέλη ενός γκρουπ εκμάθησης ομότιμων είναι
πρόθυμα να μοιραστούν υλικό, να ανασχεδιάσουν
υπάρχον υλικό και να δημιουργήσουν νέα γνώση.
Έχουν έναν ξεκάθαρο και σαφή στόχο να υποστηρίξουν
ο ένας τον άλλο για να «αναπτυχθούν» από κοινού. Η
«αρχή» (εξουσία) εντός του γκρουπ είναι εξαιρετικά
σπάνια και βασίζεται σε μια ιεράρχηση των ρόλων.” (p.
104)

13. Βασική δραστηριότητα εντός ενός γκρουπ ομότιμων:
“Επιπλέον, η διαφάνεια, μαζί με την αναγνώριση και
την αξιοποίηση των κοινών τρόπων επικοινωνίας και
επιχειρησιακών λεπτομερειών θεωρούνται
απαραίτητα για μια ομάδα ομότιμων για να
ευημερήσει. Αυτό είναι ακόμη πιο εμφανές καθώς
γίνεται κατανοητό ότι η κοινή χρήση δεν θα πρέπει να
περιορίζεται στην ανταλλαγή των προϊόντων της
μάθησης, αλλά και τη ρητή ανταλλαγή εμπειριών
σχετικά με τις διαδικασίες μάθησης, τα μονοπάτια και
τα έργα.” (p. 105)

14. Χαρακτηριστικά ομότιμης παραγωγής:
“Τα πιο σημαντικά χαρακτηριστικά μιας ομότιμης
παραγωγής είναι η αναγνώριση της αξίας και της
αναγκαιότητας πολύπλοκων διεργασιών εντός της
ίδιας της διαδικασίας, όπως είναι η δημιουργία, ο
διαμοιρασμός, η επεξεργασία και η προθυμία να είναι
ανοικτή και δεκτική προς τη συμβολή από διαφορετικά
άτομα, πεδία και κατευθύνσεις.” (p. 105)

15. • Η Μάθηση από Ομότιμους πάντα λάμβανε χώρα
αλλά το διαδίκτυο παρέχει νέες δυνατότητες,
βασισμένες στην ίδια ιδέα και κριτήρια
• Δεν υπάρχει καθηγητής/εκπαιδευτής αλλά ειδικοί
• Για να έχουμε ένα επιτυχημένο γκρουπ ομότιμων το
κάθε μέλος πρέπει να πληρεί βασικές προδιαγραφές
• Η ενεργή συμμετοχή απαιτείται στη μαθησιακή
διαδικασία

17. Σε αυτό το μέρος του μαθήματος θα επικεντρωθούμε
στα χαρακτηριστικά ενός περιβάλλοντος Μάθησης από
Ομότιμους και το σχεδιασμό και υλοποίησή του.
Βασιζόμενοι στις προτάσεις του TOPPING 2007, θα
δούμε:
• 13 οργανωτικές διαστάσεις
• 12 πτυχές της οργάνωσης
• Ένα θεωρητικό μοντέλο Μάθησης από Ομότιμους
Επισκόπηση
18. Το 2007 ο TOPPING περιέγραψε 13 επονομαζόμενες
‚οργανωτικές διαστάσεις‘ (p. 633). Αυτές οι διαστάσεις
περιγράφουν τους κεντρικούς παράγοντες που συντελούν
στη διαφοροποίηση μεθόδων ομότιμης μάθησης. Οι
διαστάσεις αυτές είναι οι ακόλουθες:

20. Βάση αυτών των κριτηρίων και του ισχυρισμού ότι η
ομότιμη μάθηση πρέπει να δίνει έμφαση στην ισότητα
και τις ίσες ευκαιρίες ανάμεσα στα συμμετέχοντα
μέλη, ο TOPPING δημιούργησε επίσης μια λίστα πτυχών
που πρέπει να λαμβάνονται υπόψη κατά το σχεδιασμό
ομότιμης μάθησης.

22. Θεωρητικό Μοντέλο
Τα θετικά αποτελέσματα που μπορούν να παραχθούν
από ένα καλά υλοποιημένο περιβάλλον Ομότιμης
Μάθησης είναι πολλαπλά. Αλλά τι σημαίνει “καλά
υλοποιημένο”, πέρα από τις θεωρητικές γνώσεις που
λάβαμε σχετικά με τις οργανωτικές διαστάσεις;
ΟΙ TOPPING & EHLY (2001) δημιούργησαν ένα μοντέλο
που μας δίνει μια καλή βάση, βασισμένο στη σύνθεση
συμπερασμάτων υπαρχουσών ερευνών.
24. Συμπερασματικά
• Η Μάθηση Ομότιμων έχει πολυδιάστατη δυναμική
• Για να κάνουμε χρήση της δυναμικής αυτής είναι
σημαντικό να κατανοήσουμε και να εφαρμόσουμε
ένα αποτελεσματικό περιβάλλον μάθησης
• Αυτό το περιβάλλον πρέπει να είναι ειδικά
σχεδιασμένο για το σκοπό που θα εξυπηρετήσει
• Θεωρητικά ή εννοιολογικά μοντέλα (όπως αυτά που
παρουσιάστηκαν) είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά για μια
τέτοια δημιουργική διαδικασία
