• This is an illustration of a service template to deploy a standard 3‐tier web application
• Point out that XenDesktop is more complex than MSFT’s initial Service Template scenarios, but
development our own template has coincided with and helped prioritize (we filed several severe bugs
with the VMM team) improvement of the VMM Services model.
• We think that the System Center 2012 R2 VMM release will have a solid service model
implementation that Citrix can confidently leverage.
