2. Don't Get in the Way
Don't use modal dialogues, decay gracefully
3. Keep It Timely
Keep data fresh data, yes
But also stay linear - avoid complex hierarchies
4. Avoid the Unexpected
Be transparent - Don't send unexpected
messaging, which users didn’t sign up for
