Strengths
• You can get thousands of songs for your MP3
• New technology that people will want
• People know how to use the internet so it will be
easy to use
• Conventional iPod features as well internet streaming
feature
• Easy to carry, the right size for sports etc.
• More music sales for spotify
• Sell other products with the new MP3 e.g. cases and
headphones etc.
Weaknesses
• Wifi at all times, you can’t use it outside, only
inside which is bad if people need to travel
• Most people have an Apple IPods so won’t see
the point in getting one
• Just the same as using a laptop due to Wifi etc.
• MP3s dying out, need to think of next generation
• Financially hard to make
• Customers have to pay for separate music
• Battery life ?

Any other new MP3s that will come out in the future
New products that better MP3s and iPods that people
will want more
• Reviews on internet and articles that criticize over new
product
• Has to look at competition prices so that it’s affordable
for the public but also a good price with other
companies

Strengths • You can get thousands of songs for your MP3 • New technology that people will want • People know how to use the internet so it will be easy to use • Conventional iPod features as well internet streaming feature • Easy to carry, the right size for sports etc. • More music sales for spotify • Sell other products with the new MP3 e.g. cases and headphones etc.

Weaknesses • Wifi at all times, you can’t use it outside, only inside which is bad if people need to travel • Most people have an Apple IPods so won’t see the point in getting one • Just the same as using a laptop due to Wifi etc. • MP3s dying out, need to think of next generation • Financially hard to make • Customers have to pay for separate music • Battery life ?

Opportunities • • • • More accounts will be made on spotify Spotify more known Expand the brand Advertisement on music channels and radio station also using billboards and TV advertisement to get to a mainstream audience. • The use of celebrities on adverts will also grab attention as that person will inspire the public to buy it.

Threats • • • • So many different MP3’s iPods etc Competition between Apple and spotify Any other new MP3s that will come out in the future New products that better MP3s and iPods that people will want more • Reviews on internet and articles that criticize over new product • Has to look at competition prices so that it’s affordable for the public but also a good price with other companies
