Step-by-step support and documentation for ISO/IATF and VDA
audits by using generic measures and checklists including sub-
supplier management and purchase parts coordination or standard
PPAP documentation to support quality gates are met.
Use of FACTORYWORKX, an innovative and online based tool ideal for
the tracking of quality data or production numbers, downtime, logistics
data incl. racks, parts, modules - based on part numbers, scans or
progress reports, modules or shipment information. Can be used
separately for various other tasks as well.
Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis using analytical
charts, FMEAs and inductive reasoning to create 8D plans
and control charts which may be used for control plans later

Target Fortschritt
Value stream mapping and visualization of all routes, cycle,
transportation devices, times and indicating transfer points in layouts.
The visualization / layout is the basis for simulation work and
bottleneck / capacity investigations.
We understand lean logistics as the optimal balance and most efficient
use of all resources. We use our know how and experience in simulating
each process, material flow to find the most efficient balance of
production. This includes suggestion of changing display of material,
racking, packaging or manpower needs and the integration with
assembly processes.
A plan for each part (PFEP) is our main logistics master mind to
determine container size, replenish cycles, routes, transportation
devices, manpower demands, racking areas and rack sizes and
optimization of packaging (SLTs, GLTs, KLTs, inlays etc.).
Logistics
SWJ TECHNOLOGY 2019 Confidential page 24
OUR PROCESSES/STANDARDS
Our support:
SWJ TECHNOLOGY has proprietary tools to determine standard
process times (based on MTM/MOST values) but simplified for
use of production team members. Tools may be licensed to
customers and simple but standardized basics to establish lean
processes.
Value stream mapping is our main working tool to provide a
quick overview of 4 M (use of machine, methods, material and
methods) but also to visualize bottlenecks, input parameters and
interaction of production with adjacent areas (e.g. logistics).
Production
Lastly, SWJ uses SWJ-OptiPRO, a simulation tool to verify
capacities, schedules, visualize process and material flows,
indicate bottlenecks and provide forecast on output of
production.
SWJ TECHNOLOGY 2019 Confidential page 25
OUR PROCESSES/STANDARDS
Our support:
We learned that all tools, systems, methods might not help if
“people” do not use them or do not “want” them. Thus we rely on
the “MOBB” model to initiate change. Pushing for change is one
of the main values our Project Managers understand as their
primary tasks.
We use MS-project but can also provide for tracking of resources, time
and tasks in R-plan. Additionally we train those systems to our own
employees as well as to our customers. Trainings are also offered for
Lean Integration, ISO-Certification and Project Management.
A major portion of our project management and project coordination is spent
on equipment, tools, handhelds and assist devices. Our PMs not only plan,
design and furnish specifications, we coordinate the entire process from
RFQ process, vendor selection, purchase, vendor tracking, buy-off to
overseeing implementation/installation and ensuring run-at-rate.

The visualization / layout is the basis for simulation work and bottleneck / capacity investigations. We understand lean logistics as the optimal balance and most efficient use of all resources. We use our know how and experience in simulating each process, material flow to find the most efficient balance of production. This includes suggestion of changing display of material, racking, packaging or manpower needs and the integration with assembly processes. A plan for each part (PFEP) is our main logistics master mind to determine container size, replenish cycles, routes, transportation devices, manpower demands, racking areas and rack sizes and optimization of packaging (SLTs, GLTs, KLTs, inlays etc.). • 24. SWJ TECHNOLOGY 2019 Confidential page 24 OUR PROCESSES/STANDARDS Our support: SWJ TECHNOLOGY has proprietary tools to determine standard process times (based on MTM/MOST values) but simplified for use of production team members. Tools may be licensed to customers and simple but standardized basics to establish lean processes. Value stream mapping is our main working tool to provide a quick overview of 4 M (use of machine, methods, material and methods) but also to visualize bottlenecks, input parameters and interaction of production with adjacent areas (e.g. logistics). Production Lastly, SWJ uses SWJ-OptiPRO, a simulation tool to verify capacities, schedules, visualize process and material flows, indicate bottlenecks and provide forecast on output of production.
  • 25. SWJ TECHNOLOGY 2019 Confidential page 25 OUR PROCESSES/STANDARDS Our support: We learned that all tools, systems, methods might not help if “people” do not use them or do not “want” them. Thus we rely on the “MOBB” model to initiate change. Pushing for change is one of the main values our Project Managers understand as their primary tasks. We use MS-project but can also provide for tracking of resources, time and tasks in R-plan. Additionally we train those systems to our own employees as well as to our customers. Trainings are also offered for Lean Integration, ISO-Certification and Project Management. A major portion of our project management and project coordination is spent on equipment, tools, handhelds and assist devices. Our PMs not only plan, design and furnish specifications, we coordinate the entire process from RFQ process, vendor selection, purchase, vendor tracking, buy-off to overseeing implementation/installation and ensuring run-at-rate.
