Swimming pool construction involves several steps: 1. Designing the pool shape and dimensions. 2. Excavating the area and grading the ground for the pool walls and floor. 3. Framing the walls with metal bars and installing plumbing, electricity, and the concrete floor. 4. Pouring and finishing the concrete walls, adding a moisture barrier, backfilling outside the walls, and filling the pool.

2. SWIMMING POOL
 A swimming pool, swimming bath, wading pool,
or paddling pool is a container filled with water to
enable swimming.
 Pools can be sunk into the ground or built above
ground as a freestanding construction.
 In-ground pools are most commonly constructed from
materials such as concrete, natural stone, metal, plastic
or fiberglass, and can be of a custom size and shape
or built to a standardized size.
 The largest of which is the Olympic-size swimming pool.

3. Construction Step by Step

1. Design the pool
 You'll want to start by designing the pool that you want
to build. Will it be round? Square? How deep will it be?
What color do you want the pool to be? The more
complex the design, the higher the cost.

4.  2. Excavate the area
 Dig out the area where the pool will go from a Crain or by
manual means. Depends on time, cost, type of site and
availability.

6.  3. Grade the ground
 You'll want to even out the ground as much as possible along what
will become the bottom of the pool. This will make building the
walls and putting in the floor much easier.

7.  4. Frame the walls
 After excavation and the land graded, the next step is to start
putting in the walls.
 Start by framing the walls with metal bars.
 Make sure to keep the walls even and in line with each other.

8.  5. Put in the plumbing
 You will need to create a supply and filtration system which meets
the codes and requirement of your site.

9.  6. Run the electricity
 The electric wires are installed at this stage of the construction.
 A keen consideration to be taken care of its water proofing.

10.  7. Pour the floor
 With the plumbing and electricity roughed in, we can start building
the actual walls and floor by pouring the cement, grading and
smoothing once it is poured.
 Make sure to pay attention to angle of the floor if making a pool
with depth variation.

11.  8. Build the walls
 With the floor in place, we can start building the walls. These are
often made from poured concrete.

12.  9. Finish the walls
 Pools need some type of moisture barrier, to keep all of the water
from simply leeching out.

13.  10. Fill in the outside
 Fill in the outside area behind the walls of the pool. This filling
material will vary depending on where it is being constructed.

14.  11. Fill the pool
 With the pool complete, you'll just need to fill it up!
