RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Design Engineer in GECIA-(Global Engineering Centre India Airpower)- A service premise
in Atlas Copco, which provides design services & solutions, also handle different kind of
projects related to design.
-Study the project brief and collect data from similar projects executed by GECIA;
-Follow the Atlas Copco/ customer specified standards to carry out virtual designing of the
machine;
-Modify drawings based on feedback received from Project leader and Client;
-Visit shop floor and resolve technical queries during prototype production;
-Monitor daily hours spent and escalate overruns to the Project Leader in order to deliver the
project as per the timelines and quality standards.
-Review design and check for adherence to safety and quality standards as per defined
international and Atlas Copco standards;

requested;
-Update status sheet daily and submit to lead engineer for review;
-Validate the design post assembly at the customer site;
