• HCL TECHNOLOGIES, as a Design Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Live order processing for vertical pumps
Engineering of custom pump design for specific customer orders.
Review customer order document and prepare general arrangement drawing (GAD)
for pumps which includes dimensional details to mount the pump at site, piping
details, allowable nozzle loads, driver details, static and dynamic loads as applicable,
Details of shaft sealing method and its accessories as required.
Engineering of custom pump design for specific customer orders.
Interpreting design inputs, Executing design on Creo-2 modeling tool
Selection of cast hydraulic parts, Preparation and selection of bill of material.
Assigning inspection and testing plan directions on each component per ITT
standards.

arrangement drawing, Prepare complete pump BOM, Design fabrication component for
strength and vibration, Selection of sealing plan piping /Tubing components, Creation of
manufacturing drawings for all the fabricated parts and releasing them to production, Running
customer specific software’s to check for the stress, Reed frequency, Critical speed analysis and
flange coupling analysis.
• As Built cross section drawings (ASBX):
Along with general arrangement drawings, The as built cross section drawing of the pump
assembly are also created which has material description and quantity details of each and
every parts used in assembly along with the material code, quantity involved with material
description in ASTM Standards.

The scope of this project was to provide design support and develop the modules for semiconductor
WAFER cleaning equipment. Working with the team to build 3D models and create drawings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Involves modeling, assembly and drawings, including bill of materials and detailed
mechanical drawings with machining, assembly, welding details in CAD tool, data
management through SAP, Visibility, BOM preparation for complete Module, and
Quality check.
