 Supervisor should do:
1. Conducting motion study and correcting
faulty motions
2. Hourly operator capacity check
3. Conduct R&D (Research & development) for
the garment:
4. Use best possible line layout
5. Scientific work station layout
6. Reduce line setting time
7. Improve line balancing
8. Use work aids, attachments, guides, correct
pressure foots and folders:
9. Continuous feeding to the sewing line
10. Feed fault free and precise cutting to line
11. Training to sewing operators
12. Setting individual operator target
13. Eliminate loss time and off-standard time
14. Using auto trimmer sewing machine
15. Installing better equipment
16. Inline quality inspection at regular interval
17. Operator motivation
 1. Absence of Quality Awareness
 2. Unavailability of Quality monitoring tools
 3. Poor Material handling
 4. Inferior quality of raw material
 5. Communication Gap
 6. Non- maintenance machines
 7. Untrained checking personnel at Check points
 8. Untidy floor and workshops
 9. Use of damaged equipment
 10. Production team biased on quantity than quality
You shouldn't compromise with quality over production quantity.
