Eukaryotic cells contain membrane-bound organelles such as the nucleus, mitochondria, Golgi bodies, and vesicles. Prokaryotic cells lack these membrane-bound structures. Plant cells additionally contain chloroplasts and a cell wall composed of cellulose and lignin. Animal and fungal cells do not have a cell wall but lysosomes. Organelle sizes range from 5nm thick membranes to 10um for the nucleus.
