1. Born in 1970, I moved with my family from the Midlands to Dorset in October 1982,
purchasing my present Somerset property in February 2003.
Married with two children, a daughter born in 2001 and a son in 2004.
Keen to get into employment I left school at sixteen with 5 ‘O’ levels. Started my
career very much at ‘ground level’ and worked my way up to my most recent position
requiring a lot of self-discipline, motivation and responsibility. I believe I have been
successful through hard work, my determination to succeed, enthusiasm, energy and a
very positive attitude towards life in general.
Started working in my most recent position in May 2008 and enjoyed a lot of success
building up the area and good relationships with customers and colleagues. To reduce
overheads the company has decided to make the position of Area Sales Manager
redundant. I have therefore been made redundant at the same time as several
employees including five other Area Sales Managers I therefore now wish to seek a
new opportunity where I can focus on a fresh challenge.

Some personal achievements
In terms of personal achievements, I have always been very competitive in sports
etc. As a schoolboy I managed the football team [and table tennis] and lead it to a
league win. From 13-25yrs I competed in cycle racing and achieved many category
and outright wins.
From late 20s to mid 30s competed at a high level in kart racing, with many pole
positions, fastest laps, race wins and eventually achieved my goal in 2005 of an
outright championship win against several large budget sponsored teams/drivers.
