This study examined the prevalence of additional canals (MB2 and MB3) in the mesiobuccal root of maxillary molars. The study analyzed 136 maxillary molars undergoing root canal treatment. Additional canals were found in 90.44% of first maxillary molars, with 84.56% having an MB2 canal and 5.88% having an MB3 canal. 50.91% of second maxillary molars had additional canals, with 50.91% having an MB2 canal and 1.82% having an MB3 canal.
