times in between you can see the downfall in the frequency is the time when this allele was not

This system may be seen strictly as a blood distribution network, but some consider the circulatory system as composed of the cardiovascular system, which distributes blood, and the lymphatic system, which returns excess filtered blood plasma from the interstitial fluid (between cells) as lymph. While humans, as well as other vertebrates, have a closed cardiovascular system (meaning that the blood never leaves the network of arteries, veins and capillaries), some invertebrate groups have an open cardiovascular system. The more primitive, diploblastic animal phyla lack circulatory systems. The lymphatic system, on the other hand, is an open system providing an accessory route for excess interstitial fluid to get returned to the blood.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Study Guide: Respiratory/Cardio Vascular system Definitions: 1) Pulse- the number of times your heart beats in a period of time (BPM) 2) Arteries- take blood away from the heart, contain oxygen rich blood (red) 3) Veins- bring blood towards the heart, contain oxygen poor blood (blue) 4) Capillaries- very tiny blood vessels that connect arteries and veins, the place where oxygen, carbon dioxide and nutrients are exchanged. 5) Cardiac Muscle- Heart muscle (only found in the heart) 6) Nutrients- food broken down to very tiny pieces that can be absorbed by capillaries. 7) Circulatory System- The system that circulates blood around your body. 8) Valves- doors in the heart that keep blood flowing in one direction; prevents blood from flowing backwards 9) Heart- a muscle responsible for pumping blood throughout the body. 10) Respiratory system- the body system that allows you to take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. 11) Alveoli- grape like sacs in your lungs that are surrounded by capillaries. They allow oxygen and carbon dioxide exchanged. 12) Atrium- small rooms at the top of the heart 13) Ventricles- larger rooms at the bottom of the heart
- 2. Essay Questions: What is the job of blood? Blood transports oxygen, carbon dioxide and nutrients throughout the body. Why is the heart a double pump? The right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs the left side of the heart pumps blood to the body. (everywhere) How do the respiratory system and circulatory system work together? The heart pumps blood to the lungs where the alveoli is surrounded by capillaries which allow for the transfer of oxygen and carbon dioxide. What happens to your heart when you exercise? The heart rate increases to bring additional blood around the body so that your muscles can receive additional oxygen and nutrients and have the carbon dioxide removed. What would happen if you had a hole in your heart between your ventricles? The oxygenated blood on the left side of the heart would mix with the deoxygenated blood on the right side of the heart. Then deoxygenated blood would be pumped to the body!
