For Social Communication
What ?
Show in form of theatrical performance on the streets is street play
Where?
• Outdoor Public Place- Any where –Permission Better!
Whom?
• Public
• Mall/ Parking Zone/Around Garden/Around Market
• Audience without paying for the play see the performance
When?
Announcement of play in advance not done usually.
Why?
• Social Cause/Message giving
• Social Communication
• Create awareness
• Stir up emotions
• Enlighten
• Education, Edutainment, Empowerment
• Community Mobilization
• Breaking barrier of Access , Cost
• New Opportunity for Socializing and Friendship
Do
• Absorb character you want to play
• Dialogue/Script writing
• Language- Local the better !
• Humor
• Body Language
• Ignore the anti social
• Voice Modulation
• Use acoustic and percussion instruments for music -better
