•Hold one Bonner meeting per semester to campus at-large,
inviting representatives from the college president’s of

2. Get into groups with others focusing on the same area.
3. Individually, using the handout, develop your goals, strategy,
and tactics for this spring. (10min)
4. Discuss your goals, strategy, and tactics in your groups. (20min)
5. If time, choose a second priority area and repeat the steps.

  • 22. Strategy & Tactic •Strategy •A strategy refers to an organization's long-term goals and how it plans to reach them. In other words, it shows the path to achieve the de fi ned vision. •A plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. •Tactic •A tactic refers to the speci fi c actions taken to reach the set goals in line with the strategy.
  • 23. Example: Siena College Goal/Strategy Statement Increase visibility for our Bonner Program campus-wide by the next academic year.

Tactics for Goal/Strategy: Increasing Visibility •Begin collaboration campaign with other student organizations. •Open Bonner weekly meetings once a month to hold invite other student organizations to discuss common challenges. •Hold one Bonner meeting per semester to campus at-large, inviting representatives from the college president’s of fi ce to join in-person or virtually.
