This document outlines the criteria for success in implementing a Professional Learning Community (PLC) in a school. It lists four criteria: 1) defining the concept of a PLC, 2) identifying six PLC strategies and collaborative tools, 3) recognizing procedures for implementing a selected PLC strategy, and 4) designing an example implementation of a PLC in a school. It also includes an introduction to a brainstorming session on assessing a school's readiness for PLCs.
