The artist created a poster by duplicating and manipulating an image to look cracked and smudged. Glass was placed over the face and its opacity decreased so only cracks showed. Eraser tools were used on edges and smudged skin areas were darkened with burn tools. Text was added and a title font that complemented the main image effect was chosen.

ThenI importedthe mainimage andduplicatedthe
image whichwasplacedbehind the original image.I
made sure I onlyselectthe duplicated imageand
usedthe smudge tool to expandsome partsof the
image.Ialso usedblackpaintforthe eyesand
smudgedsome aroundthe waterlinetomake itlook
more realisticanda white reflectiontomake sure it
had a bitof a roundershape.
I placedan image of brokenglassinfrontof the
mainimage and made sure itwas of similarsize as
the modelsface.Ithenneededtomake sure the
image of brokenglassmouldedtothe shape of the
face and the use of liquefyallowedme tonotselect
some areas,whichdidnot needthiseffect.Afterthe
opacityof the brokenglassimage wasdecreasedso
onlythe white crackswas visible,makingthe model
lookas if her face wascracked.
I useddifferentshapederasertool aroundthe
edgesof the image.Ineededtomake sure to
change the size of this tool.
I thenreplicatedthe same thingforthe duplicated
image ad made sure to use biggersizederasertool
for the edge of the image.

2. Thisarea was white because of the skinof the
skinbeingsmudged.So,Iusedthe burntool to
make thisarea darker.I usedthe burntool for
otherareas where the smudgedskinwaslocated
to make the overall image lookdarker.
My original ideawastoapplyredcolourto the
creditsbutchangedto white asit lookedmore
professionalandblendedwell withthe main
image.Ialso addedadditional textsandsignsa
normal filmposterwould.
