September 28, 2015 Reflection Letter
Dear Ms. Chase,
I would like to discuss with you my concerns, questions, academic history and my
challenges. I love to learn but have many difficulties with learning. I do have some skills and
experience for this course.
In my past experiences with school from elementary to College have been very difficult.
I have ADD which makes it hard for me to focus. I am a very easily distracted person. In school
my teachers would normally put me in a room alone when it came to a test to help me focus. I
also have really bad test anxiety. When I hear test I freeze, I can study so hard but when I see the
test I forget everything. Being alone in a room by myself helps me, I do get nervous but there 4is
no one there to distract me.
I am a very slower learner and don’t move as quickly as others. I also get very nervous to
ask question or speak up so I don’t. I rather talk to you alone with no one there. I really don’t
work well in groups and prefer to work alone, but I no there will be group assignments. I see that
we will be using Microsoft engines like word and power point. I have a lot of experiences at
using those engines.
