social "roles", and hence poses the individual against society. On the other hand society
suggests that certain norms of behaviour are appropriate to given groups of people, which
many people in such groups would now wish to contest (eg the struggles over representation
of blacks, women and gays in recent years). Stars are one of the ways in which conceptions
of such persons are promulgated.”

Our artist’s USP is her outstanding
beauty and sex appeal. She is marketed
as a strong women who uses her
appearance to her own benefit. One
might say she has a ‘bond girl’ image.
As an artist all the girls want to be like
her and all the guys want to be with her.
"In today's music industry, Plain Janes need not apply. Sex
appeal was once considered a bonus for a woman; now it's
practically a requirement."
MARKETING THE ARTIST ACROSS
THE CAMPAIGN
We are planning to market our artist by her appearance and
have her face as the recognition factor.
In both the website and DigiPak the artist should be the main
focus and we will incorporate multiple portrait shots. This will
market her beauty and appeal to the young audience.
we are also planning to have the colour RED appear in all the
tree medias to present the campaign as a unit.
We selected the colour red, because it has connotations of
sex appeal and love which is our artists USP.
DIGIPAK
• The artist is the main focus of the DigiPak
• She is represented by photographs
• we will incorporating red tones, to cannot the sex appeal
WEBSITE
These websites are similar to the websites we are planning to
construct for our star.
We want to draw attention to the star’s USP.
Although the bottom left website is a make up website, we could adapt
it and create a similar layout.
The attention is only focused on the star, her image is the first thing
that pop’s up.

In both the website and DigiPak the artist should be the main focus and we will incorporate multiple portrait shots. This will market her beauty and appeal to the young audience. we are also planning to have the colour RED appear in all the tree medias to present the campaign as a unit. We selected the colour red, because it has connotations of sex appeal and love which is our artists USP.

  • 8. WEBSITE These websites are similar to the websites we are planning to construct for our star. We want to draw attention to the star’s USP. Although the bottom left website is a make up website, we could adapt it and create a similar layout. The attention is only focused on the star, her image is the first thing that pop’s up.
