This document describes the design of a compact home aquaponics system that seeks to optimize space and resources. Key features include custom LED lights to maximize plant growth while minimizing electricity usage, electronic monitoring systems to record water quality data, and the introduction of amphipods to naturally break down waste in the system. The goal is to create a low-maintenance, semi-automated system that efficiently produces both fish and vegetables with no waste effluent.
