• Open membership to all students
• Do not violate federal, provincial, municipal bi-laws or college
regulations
• Do not practice any form of coercive techniques for
membership (No hazing)
• Do not practice discrimination
• Remain non-for-profit

5. FINANCES Mo money, mo problems ($$$)
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
- Hold all club funds in designated SSU Club account
- Ensure an up - to - date record of club spending upon request
- Submission of original reciepts for reimbursements
- All revenue taken in by a club must be deposited into the SSU bank
account with source indicated
- Club funding can not be used for alcohol
- All revenue must be deposited directly to me
- Clubs at bronze status may not be eligible for more money

6. FUNDRAISING $$$$$$$$$$
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
- No bake sales
- Fundraising activities must be communicated
- Pub night revenue
- Deposits into club account must be handed directly to me to
approve and submit to our finance department
On / Off campus events and Pub night information will be presented
in the next workshop

Will result in a meeting with me to go over what needs to
be improved. This will affect access to resources.
Reasons for bronze status:
- failure to submit financial forms
- failure to attend meetings
- failure to attend clubs fair
- failure to communicate

What’s the purpose of the fair?
• Opportunity to inform students about what your club / organization is all about
• Meet new students and potentially recruit new members
