Buroinjin
Ένα παιχνίδι παρόμοιο με το μπάσκετ που παίζεται με μια μπάλα που αποτελείται από
δέρμα καγκουρό (που ονομάζεται buroijin). Το έπαιζαν οι Kabi Kabi, αβοριγίνικη φυλή
του Νότιου Κουίνσλαντ.
2. Goomboobooddoo
Ένα παραδοσιακό παιχνίδι πάλης. Tα σώματα λιπαίνονται για να γίνουν ολισθηρά και
στη συνέχεια οι φυλές ανταγωνίζονται μεταξύ τους. Η πλευρά που ρίχνει τελικά τους
περισσότερους άνδρες κερδίζει.
Gorri, Wungoolay
Ένα παιχνίδι στο οποίο τα αγόρια και οι άνδρες προσπαθούν να ρίξουν ή να κυλήσουν
ένα μικρό αντικείμενο (μια μπάλα του τένις ή ένα δίσκο) κατά μήκος μιας γραμμής σε ένα
κινούμενο στόχο. Οι παίκτες πρέπει να προσπαθήσουνκαι να χτυπήσθυν το κινούμενο
αντικείμενο με δόρατα από απόσταση περίπου 15 μέτρων για να κερδίσουν πόντους για
την ομάδα τους. Αυτό το είδος του παιχνιδιού έχει ιστορικές αναφορές στο κυνήγι της
άγριας ζωής και βοηθούσε τα παιδιά να μάθουν την ακρίβεια του ματιού και την ταχύτητα
στη ρίψη του δόρατος, τη βελτίωση της φυσικής κατάστασης και την εστίαση.

Ένα παιχνίδι στο οποίο οι ανταγωνιστές ρίχνουν ένα μεγάλο κόκκαλο ζώου που το έχουν
δέσει με σπάγγο πάνω από ένα δίχτυ σε ένα λάκκο ή την τρύπα. Ο στόχος είναι τα οστά
να μην αγγίξουνε το δίχτυ, το οποίο απαιτεί μεγάλη επιδεξιότητα και προετοίμαζε για το
κυνήγι.
3. Keentan
Ένα παιχνίδι που παίζεται και από τα δύο φύλα. Το παιχνίδι ονομάζεται επίσης το
«καγκουρό-play", επειδή οι παίκτες κάνουν άλμα και μέχρι να πιάσουν την μπάλα που
μοιάζει με τις κινήσεις του καγκουρό. Ηταν γνωστό σε πολλές πόλεις τις Αυστραλίας.
Επίσης έφτιαχναν παιχνίδια από κριθάρι, ύφασμα,πέτρες,ξύλο ακόμα και από φτερά
πουλιών.

4. H συνέντευξη της μητέρας μου:
- Μπορείς να μας πεις τι παιχνίδια παίζατε στην Αυστραλία όταν ήσαστανπαιδιά;
-Την δεκαετία του ‘70’ όταν έμενα εγώ στην Αυστραλία τα παιδιά έπαιζαν πολύ διαφορετικά
απ’ ό,τι σήμερα. Παίζαμε με διάφορα αυτοσχέδια παιχνίδια ... όπως το πιάσιμο της μπάλας
(ένα παιχνίδι περίπου σαν τα μήλα),το στραβό κουτσό (παιζόταν με 5-6 παιδιά τα οποία
γύρναγαν από την ανάποδη πλευρά ένα σκοινάκι και έπρεπε το παιδί που ήταν μέσα να
περνάει απο κάτω χωρίς να το ακουμπήσει) ή το κυνήγι του καγκουρό (το σημερινό κρυφτό
με τη διαφορά ότι κρυβόταν ένα παιδί,το " κανγκουρό", και οι άλλοι έπρεπε να το βρουν).
Παίζαμε όμως και επιτραπέζια λίγο πιο διαφορετικά από τα σημερινά,δηλαδή: το " βρες το
ζώο ή το φυτό» , το "πλάθοντας ζωάκια " και άλλα τέτοια αστεία και διασκεδαστικά
παιχνιδάκια με τα οποία ασκούνταν το μυαλό και λειτουργούσε ως πηγή γνώσεων και
μάθησης.. Επιπλέον τα κορίτσια φτιάχναμε κούκλες από δέρμα καγκουρό είτε από βαμβάκι..
Ενώ τα αγόρια μάζευαν πέτρες από το χώμα ή την παραλία και τις σκάλιζαν δημιουργώντας
διάφορα σχέδια. Επίσης ασχολούμασταν με πλαστελίνη ή με χλαπάτσες.. Τοτε ήταν στην
μόδα κάτι παιχνίδια που ήταν σε μορφή επιτραπέζιου τα οποία είχαν κάτι κομμάτια ύφασμα
με τα οποία έπρεπε να φτιάξεις ρούχα για τις κούκλες σου. Τα αγόρια συνήθως έπαιζαν με
αυτοκινητάκια ή με μικρά παιχνιδάκια τύπου"playmobile" . Σε αντίθεση,τα κορίτσια παίζαμε
με μικρές φιγούρες, όπως αλογάκια,νεράιδες, πριγκίπισσες κ.τ.λ . Αυτά τα παιχνίδια θυμάμαι,
ελπίζω να βοήθησα στην έρευνά σας.
