3. WHO IS SREELAXMI SURESH?
•She Born on 5th February 1998, in Kozhikode, Kerela.
(she is 24 now)
•She is the daughter of Suresh Menon (Advocate) and
Mrs. Viju Suresh(teacher)
•. She began using computers at the age of 3.
Sreelaxmi’s parents taught her how to use a computer.
She used notepad to type letters and learnt English
alphabet. She used MS paint to draw pictures.
• Sreelakshmi is the First Youngest Woman
Entrepreneur of India
4. WHAT MADE HER TO BECOME A WEB DESIGNER?
•In 1990s-2000s, computers and internet were not essential components of
a household.
•This early experience helped her to become familiar with computer
programs.
•She became curious about website designs by children of her age.
•She tried her hand at web design and proved to be a quick learner.
•She used to finish her homework and start working on computer. Her
parents were worried about her health, but they are confident about her
talent. She proved them right, at the age of 8.
•Initially began designing websites at the age of 4 and finally created her
first website by 6.
•She also developed a web portal for her school at 8.
5. ONE OF THE YOUNGEST CEOS IN THE WORLD
•Sreelakshmi started her startup, eDesign, at
the age of 11 in 2009.
•Further, she started her next company, Tiny
Logo, at 11
•Sreelakshmi also manages another company,
Online Pixel, through which she imparts
knowledge to the needy.
•In addition to this, she also designed a website
for the Bar Council of Kerela.
•Currently, she is working as the CEO of eDesign
Technologies
6. AWARDS
Sreelakshmi possesses more than 40 National and
International Awards and Honours for her excellence in
web designing.
The Association of American Webmasters honored her
by giving its membership along with their highest award
for excellence in web designing, the Gold Web Award in
2007. She is the only Member of the Association of
American Webmasters, under the age of 18.
She was honored by the Ministry of Women and Child
Development (India) and received the National Child Award
for Exceptional Achievement in 2008 by Sonia Gandhi at
Vigyan Bhavan.

7. ACHIEVEMENTS
She was invited by Shoppers Stop, the largest
business network in India and addressed 144 CEOs of
various companies.
Invited by several engineering and management
colleges, confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Lions
Club, Rotary International
She designed websites for over 250 clients with
affordable charges. Developed websites for Bar council
of Kerala, Kozhikode district Association for Deaf, Online
encyclopedia about Kerala
She is TED-x speaker (in 2012).
8. WHAT IS THE MESSAGE?
•Age is just a number.
•Don’t think that something is impossible for
children. They can achieve what elders can do.
•She says, “If you are confident that you are
competent and prepared to work hard, nothing
is impossible”
