SUMMARY OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Involvement in the electronics manufacturing arena for over 28 years, acting in management, sales
and marketing, technical support, engineering, and maintenance support roles. Have managed as
many as 125 employees, and controlled an annual budget in excess of two million dollars. Have
been accountable for a manufacturing quot;cellquot; which generated in excess of fifteen million dollars
annual revenue for the employer. Have been instrumental member of senior management team
that Implemented a growth plan for a contract manufacturer, which took annual revenues from
$900 K to $18 M in 3.5 years.

•   Career has been intensely focused upon factory automation, and the associated capital
    equipment, processes, and people required to successfully implement automation plans. Have
    played a significant role in the improvement of both the quality and efficiency of the numerous
    firms with which I have been associated.

•   Developed aggressive preventive maintenance, technical and non-technical employee
    training, and process yield improvement programs in several well-known domestic firms.
    These programs were designed to enhance, improve, and occasionally replace existing
    systems through intelligent planning.

•   Developed yield improvement / quality plan for a major disk drive controller manufacturer
    which decreased average automatic insertion equipment (through-hole) forced downtime from
    12.3% to 4.7%, decreased post wave defects by 11.3%, and increased first-pass ICT yields by
    9.3% in the time frame of 11 months.

•   Developed aggressive preventative maintenance and yield improvement program for a large
    telecommunications firm which decreased average automatic insertion equipment (through-
    hole) forced downtime from 11.3% to 0.79%, decreased post wave defects by 21.2%, and
    increased first-pass ICT yields by 11.7% in the time frame of 36 months.

    from 900K per year to 18 million per year of a contract manufacturer in the time frame of 36
    months, and achieved ISO 9002 certification in 9 months.

National Sales Director. Responsibilities included development and implementation of a marketing
strategy, development of a manufacturer’s rep network for representation nationwide, management
of the direct regional sales force, and the accompanying technical sale of Fuel Management
Systems for an equipment OEM. . I was responsible for bookings of over $2.4 million since
September, 2000, which is 125% of my annual target.

Tecnomatix-Unicam, Inc
SE Regional Sales Manager for a supplier of CIM, FES and MES / Quality data collection
software. Managed Manufacturer’s Reps in territory, and performed sales and marketing functions.
From April 1999 through September, 2000, I was responsible for additional bookings of over $2M
in annual revenues.

Talla-Com Industries
Manager of Commercial Business Development for an ISO 9001 Registered Electronic Contract
Manufacturer. Their business focus was the RF and the wireless communication industry. My
responsibilities and accountabilities included development and implementation of a marketing
strategy, and the technical sale of contract manufacturing services. July 1997 through January
1998, I was responsible for additional bookings of over $4 million per year in revenue. From June
1996 through July 1997, I served as Lead Manufacturing Engineer, with responsibilities for
automation engineering (equipment maintenance), process engineering, industrial engineering,
and tooling engineering. Budget generation / justification, technical personnel and strategy
management, capital equipment justification, and value-added process enhancements are all
components of this arena. I justified, purchased, and implemented the following capital equipment:
two (2) Siemens 80S-15 chipshooters, one (1) Siemens 80F-15 fine-pitch placement platform, one
(1) MPM ultraprint 3000 screenprinter, one BTU VIP 98 convection I/R oven and one (1) Genrad
2284 In-circuit tester.




NRT Contract Manufacturing
Quality / Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, NRT was a medium
volume high mix contract manufacturer employing 125 people with annual revenues of $18 M. I
reported directly to the president of the firm, and managed a staff of nine employees. I had total

accountability for all Engineering and Facility and Equipment Maintenance. I was a member of the
sales team, as EMS services are typically a technical sale. I justified and purchased the following
capital equipment in the time frame of 36 months: 2-Philips CSM 84VZ’s, 2- Philips CSM 60's, 1-
Philips CSM-66, 1- Conceptronics I/R convection oven, 1-Technical Devices Wavesolder, 1-
Mannix hot air fine-pitch SMT rework machine, 1-Hollis SMT-10 aqueous cleaner, 1-Alpha /
Omega SMD 600 Ionic Contamination Tester, and numerous pieces of component prep
equipment. I traveled approximately 3 - 4 times per year in order to make technical presentations
to prospective and existing customers as a key member of the sales / closure team which was
chartered to secure additional business. I was a member of a three man team who lead the way to
NRT’s UL registered ISO 9002 certification in 1995; in the time frame of 9 months. The revenues at
NRT grew from $900 K per year to $18 M per year during my 3.5 year tenure with them.

Philips Circuit Assemblies
Based in Tampa, Florida, Philips was a major force in the electronic contract manufacturing
industry. I served as a Production Manager / Lead Manufacturing Engineer. I managed a staff of
125 employees, and controlled a budget in excess of 2 million dollars annually.
I also served as the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 27 direct
employees.

Jabil Circuit Company
Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jabil is a state-of-the-art high volume SMT contract
manufacturer. I served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Jabil, and was tasked with production line
support, from incoming inspection through the shipping processes. As a side project, I assisted in
the performance of all corporate testing on CFC cleaning alternatives.

Racal-Milgo
Located in Sunrise, Florida, Racal is a telecommunications OEM. I served as Production
Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 16 employees and an annual budget
of $425,000.00. Racal was a 1986 winner of the prestigious quot;PATquot; award, which is issued by
Assembly Engineering magazine. This award recognizes major advances made in productivity and
efficiency through assembly technology.

Xebec, Inc.
Located in Gardnerville, Nevada. I served as a technical support engineer. Xebec was awarded
the coveted quot;vendor of the quarterquot; award from IBM for the three consecutive quarters that I was
employed there. Xebec was also awarded the prestigious quot;vendor of the yearquot; award from Texas
Instruments during the last quarter that I was employed there.

AT&T Denver, Colorado
I served as an equipment maintenance technician.

Storage Technology, Inc. Louisville, Colorado
I served as an equipment maintenance technician.

Engineering Manager
Reporting directly to the president, I originally served a dual role: Engineering and QA Manager. As
the company grew, a QA manager was brought on staff, and I relinquished those portions of my
duties. I then managed a staff of nine employees; one secretary, four engineers, three equipment

maintenance and facilities and grounds maintenance technicians, and one document control clerk.
Evaluated, justified, selected, purchased, installed, and configured two automated SMT assembly
lines (four placement machines, two screen printers, two I/R reflow ovens, one wave solder, one
aqueous cleaner, and two Genrad In-Circuit testers). Through effective team building, training,
and hard work, my staff and I improved process yields at ICT 23%, at SMT placement by 45%, and
at wavesolder by 250ppm.

Production Manager / Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Reporting in a dual role to both the Manager of Engineering and the Director of Operations, I
managed a staff of two manufacturing engineers, one planner, three buyers, two production
supervisors, seven inspectors, four equipment maintenance technicians, and one hundred
seventeen hourly employees. Responsible for a two shift continuous flow high volume production
quot;cellquot; which generated over 15 million dollars in revenue annually. Accountable for business
development and relationships, risk management, shipment commitments, production scheduling,
quality levels, and P & L within a continuous flow manufacturing cell capable of manufacturing
through-hole, mixed technology, surface mount, and quot;box-buildquot; of electronic assemblies.

Equipment Maintenance Supervisor
I managed a staff of 25 people. I reported to the Manager of Engineering. My duties included:
equipment spare parts inventory control, operations fixturing and tooling inventory control, cost
containment / reductions, ensuring optimum automated equipment uptime, assisting in new capital
equipment and process evaluation, selection, and justification, generation, justification, and
tracking of a $1.6 million annual departmental budget, overseeing equipment enhancements and
upgrades, developing and overseeing technician and operator training and certification.

quality of the products run through an in-line continuous flow surface mount assembly production
line. Held ultimately accountable for the quality and on-time delivery of product to the customer

reductions in the equipment maintenance spare parts inventory, improvement of methods and
productivity by studying process and equipment yields problems and downtimes, designing and
implementing a preventative maintenance program, training all technical staff, and value-added
engineering for two fully automated robotic assembly lines. Assisted in the system integration for
those lines when they were conceived and installed. Decreased average equipment downtime of
automatic insertion lines from 12.3% in 1985 to 4.7% in 1985.

My duties included: P.M., troubleshooting, modification, enhancement, and repair of all production
equipment in a contract manufacturing facility.

Have been instrumental member of senior management team that Implemented a growth plan for a contract manufacturer, which took annual revenues from $900 K to $18 M in 3.5 years. • Career has been intensely focused upon factory automation, and the associated capital equipment, processes, and people required to successfully implement automation plans. From April 1999 through September, 2000, I was responsible for additional bookings of over $2M in annual revenues. Talla-Com Industries Manager of Commercial Business Development for an ISO 9001 Registered Electronic Contract Manufacturer. Their business focus was the RF and the wireless communication industry. My responsibilities and accountabilities included development and implementation of a marketing strategy, and the technical sale of contract manufacturing services. July 1997 through January 1998, I was responsible for additional bookings of over $4 million per year in revenue. From June 1996 through July 1997, I served as Lead Manufacturing Engineer, with responsibilities for automation engineering (equipment maintenance), process engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling engineering. NRT Contract Manufacturing Quality / Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, NRT was a medium volume high mix contract manufacturer employing 125 people with annual revenues of $18 M. I reported directly to the president of the firm, and managed a staff of nine employees. I had total

I justified and purchased the following capital equipment in the time frame of 36 months: 2-Philips CSM 84VZ’s, 2- Philips CSM 60's, 1- Philips CSM-66, 1- Conceptronics I/R convection oven, 1-Technical Devices Wavesolder, 1- Mannix hot air fine-pitch SMT rework machine, 1-Hollis SMT-10 aqueous cleaner, 1-Alpha / Omega SMD 600 Ionic Contamination Tester, and numerous pieces of component prep equipment. I traveled approximately 3 - 4 times per year in order to make technical presentations to prospective and existing customers as a key member of the sales / closure team which was chartered to secure additional business. I was a member of a three man team who lead the way to NRT’s UL registered ISO 9002 certification in 1995; in the time frame of 9 months. I managed a staff of 125 employees, and controlled a budget in excess of 2 million dollars annually. I also served as the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 27 direct employees. Jabil Circuit Company Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jabil is a state-of-the-art high volume SMT contract manufacturer. I served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Jabil, and was tasked with production line support, from incoming inspection through the shipping processes. As a side project, I assisted in the performance of all corporate testing on CFC cleaning alternatives. Racal-Milgo Located in Sunrise, Florida, Racal is a telecommunications OEM. I served as Production Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 16 employees and an annual budget of $425,000.00. Racal was a 1986 winner of the prestigious quot;PATquot; award, which is issued by Assembly Engineering magazine. This award recognizes major advances made in productivity and efficiency through assembly technology. Xebec, Inc. Located in Gardnerville, Nevada. I served as a technical support engineer. Xebec was awarded the coveted quot;vendor of the quarterquot; award from IBM for the three consecutive quarters that I was employed there. Xebec was also awarded the prestigious quot;vendor of the yearquot; award from Texas Instruments during the last quarter that I was employed there. As the company grew, a QA manager was brought on staff, and I relinquished those portions of my duties. I then managed a staff of nine employees; one secretary, four engineers, three equipment

Evaluated, justified, selected, purchased, installed, and configured two automated SMT assembly lines (four placement machines, two screen printers, two I/R reflow ovens, one wave solder, one aqueous cleaner, and two Genrad In-Circuit testers). Through effective team building, training, and hard work, my staff and I improved process yields at ICT 23%, at SMT placement by 45%, and at wavesolder by 250ppm. Philips Circuit Assemblies 3602 W. Waters Ave. Tampa, FL 33614 8/92 - 1/93 Production Manager / Lead Manufacturing Engineer Reporting in a dual role to both the Manager of Engineering and the Director of Operations, I managed a staff of two manufacturing engineers, one planner, three buyers, two production supervisors, seven inspectors, four equipment maintenance technicians, and one hundred seventeen hourly employees. Responsible for a two shift continuous flow high volume production quot;cellquot; which generated over 15 million dollars in revenue annually. Accountable for business development and relationships, risk management, shipment commitments, production scheduling, quality levels, and P & L within a continuous flow manufacturing cell capable of manufacturing through-hole, mixed technology, surface mount, and quot;box-buildquot; of electronic assemblies. 12/91 - 8/92 Equipment Maintenance Supervisor I managed a staff of 25 people. I reported to the Manager of Engineering. My duties included: equipment spare parts inventory control, operations fixturing and tooling inventory control, cost containment / reductions, ensuring optimum automated equipment uptime, assisting in new capital equipment and process evaluation, selection, and justification, generation, justification, and tracking of a $1.6 million annual departmental budget, overseeing equipment enhancements and upgrades, developing and overseeing technician and operator training and certification. Jabil Circuit Company 10800 Roosevelt Blvd. St. Petersburg, FL 34624 12/89 - 12/91 Manufacturing Engineer Responsible for customer's product from incoming inspection through all manufacturing processes to shipment to the customer in a high volume surface mount contract manufacturing environment. My duties included: new product introduction, process development, tooling design and implementation, production personnel development, customer interface, and overall integrity / quality of the products run through an in-line continuous flow surface mount assembly production line. My duties included: new product introduction, cost reductions in the equipment maintenance spare parts inventory, improvement of methods and productivity by studying process and equipment yields problems and downtimes, designing and implementing a preventative maintenance program, training all technical staff, and value-added engineering for two fully automated robotic assembly lines. Assisted in the system integration for those lines when they were conceived and installed. Decreased average equipment downtime of automatic insertion lines from 12.3% in 1985 to 4.7% in 1985.
