Responsibilities:
 Project management consultant in the Green line Doha Metro,
approximately 18km twin bore 6.7m diameter tunnel railway
with 8 stations constructed in karst limestone conditions
approximately 25m deep. Civil works to be completed and
handed over for commissioning in 2018 for the operation of the
network commencing 2020.
 Provide construction surveillances to the overall civil
construction and TBM tunneling works for eight (8) stations
with switchbox, cross over and six (6) emergency evacuation
shafts.
 Provide supervision and implementation assistance to
Contractor’s compliance to contractual obligations and to
Qatar Construction and International Standards (QCS).
 Submit daily engineer’s report (EDR) and CSR to cover up site
work quality compliance based on Employers requirements and
contractual obligation for design and build contract.
 Frequent walk through inspections with Contractor’s lead
QA/QC engineers and project engineer staff on tunnel lining
epoxy injection sealing on wet cracks prior to 1st stage tunnel
invert concreting with embedded HDPE invert drainage
preparatory to interface with ballast less track bed
requirements.
 Check block works tool and jointing finishing including painting
