6. Nature of Work:
Construction of Dam across the Koundinya River at a cost of Rs.280Million, The
Length and Height of the Dam are 530mtr and 36mtr respectively. This project
includes RR masonry, blasting of rock up to stilling basin, Gallery for the entire
length of the dam and 45,000 cum of concrete works.
Responsibilities:
• Supervising all activities in the projects including surveying, Concrete, Rebar,
Scaffolding, formwork, and finishing works.
D) Special Experience
Apart from my routine civil works, I was also entrusted consultancy work by company for
soil investigation works. Here I was exposed to:-
• Collecting soil samples both disturbed and undisturbed by Standard
Penetration test.
• Laboratory study of soil strength parameters namely unconfined compressive
strength, direct shears test and bulk density.
• Determining SBC of soil for both shallow and deep foundation.
• Assisting in finalizing the soil investigation report and the type of foundation
required for the project recommended.

a) Acid proof lining in MS tanks and RCC tanks to avoid leakage. Carried out
