Germany's national flag features black, red and gold colors representing unity and freedom. The main languages are German and the capital is Berlin. Some of Germany's largest cities are Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Dresden. Famous tourist attractions include Neuschwanstein Castle, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Fairy Tale Route. The education system varies slightly between states but compulsory school starts at age 6.

The Bronze Age started around 2500 BC and saw the development of farming and completion of Stonehenge. Roald Dahl was born in Wales in 1916 to Norwegian parents and originally wrote short stories for adults before having children of his own and publishing his first children's book called "The Gremlins" in 1943. He enjoyed writing stories in a small hut in his garden using pencil on yellow paper and had a love of chocolate that may have inspired him to write about Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, though he disliked chocolate cake and ice cream. Dahl was also a fighter pilot during World War 2 and died in 1990, being buried in a church in Great Missenden.
