Sparta Isotonic Drink is a product produced by FEMS Sdn Bhd.
FEMS which has been operating since 2008 is one of Malaysia's
isotonic drink manufacturers. Before FEMS Sdn Bhd started to
extend our product line, we were one of the companies that
produce sports attire
We are the first Malaysian “Bumiputera” entrepreneurship
that driving force that redefined the isotonic category with
our unique flavor and taste.

FMES
This is the official company logo FMES Sdn. Bhd. The icon of lion head
means strength and powerful to represent the sport image that FMES
brings.
The letter FMES was a combination of name. F represent Faiz, M
represent Marzuqi, E represent Emeir and S represent Shafiq.
The colorful hair of the lion represent unity which almost has the same
meaning as the Olympic rings.
Logo
SPARTA
This is the logo of our latest product the Sparta. Sparta is the first isotonic drink produce by
FMES company.
SPARTA means is a symbolic of strength, courage and agility.
It is the latest addition to our company product line beside sportswear.
It was first launched in 5th January 2013. High marketing are invested in promoting this
isotonic drink.
The tagline for SPARTA is “Unleash Your Expectation”

OBJETIVE
Objective of SPARTA are:
•To promote more environmental alternatives.
Most of SPARTA packaging is very environmental friendly.
The packaging are made by recyclable item and some of SPARTA
packaging is for long term use.
•To promote healthy lifestyle among Malaysian
•SPARTA promotes healthy lifestyle by introducing with low sugar
product and high in vitamin.
COMPETITION
100 plus marketing usually used internet,
television and sponsoring sports event
especially involving badminton tournament.
Its latest celebrity endorser used is Dato’ Lee
Chong Wei the number one player in the world.
COMPETITION
Mostly Revive marketing communication
only focused on internet advertising,
point-of–purchase signage and television
advertising
Most of it’s advertising were internet
advertising and posters.
Excel is not a big isotonic brand compared
to 100 plus and Revive
TOOLS OF MARKETING COMMUNICATION
MEDIA ADVERTISING
Since our companies have been operating for almost
5 years and most of people in South East Asia are already
recognized with our brand, we spent heavy marketing technique
in promoting this new brand SPARTA.
There is few marketing communication that we used
•Television
Our companies are already producing
commercial involving the famous Korean
variety show called Runningman.
The advertising appeal that we used in this
commercial is celebrity endorser which we
used Kim Jong Kook as the celebrity and
humor . The length of the commercial is 51
seconds.
•Magazines
We have put our advertising is some
teen magazine like “Remaja” and
choosing sports magazine like “Wisel”
and “Four Two Two” which is basically
football magazines
•Newspaper
we also put our advertising
effort on newspaper
especially
at the sports column.
Internet Advertising
Online Video Ads
For online video ads, we use the commercial
that we play on television to be played on our
website
The online video ads will be played at the
official website, the official SPARTA Facebook
and Youtube.
Banner Ads
Internet Advertising
Banner ads are web size picture located in a
website
Visual banner ads are different with supertitials
because banner ads are static and not very much a
disturbance to the online reader compared to
supertitials.
Facebook
Facebook is basically free and are easy to setup make in
more convenience and teen friendly. SPARTA has already
have about 350 thousand friends since it was launched.

To be more effective in giving information and
displaying current and trustable brand,
SPARTA have its own website www.spartaM.com.my.
It is very crucial to have it’s own website if SPARTA to breach South East Asia market.
Place Advertising
Billboard
SPARTA also uses billboard advertising as one of its marketing
communication tool. Billboards are very useful when situated
at high populated area especially around Kuala Lumpur. The
Billboard will focus on green marketing in order to
differentiate it concept with other advertisement
Poster
Poster for SPARTA sport drink will only be allocated at certain area.
The places which likely to be sports arena like futsal court,
convenience store that sells SPARTA, sports store and stadium.
The poster majorly will focus on product visual and using celebrity
endorser consist of Zoey Rahman and Kim Jong Kook
Green Marketing
In order to differentiate SPARTA isotonic drink,
several green marketing concepts will be put to break cluster.
In term of product packaging will be made of recyclable item
and for long term use.
These key terms is used in green marketing communication.
Coupon
Instant Coupon
Instant coupon is where the purchaser can gain immediate reward
after purchasing SPARTA.The coupon will be given if the purchasers
manage to get the selected bottle displayed at the convenience store.
The purchaser of the bottle ltaht will contain certain alphabet
that are S,P,A,R,T,A. If the purchaser was lucky, he/she will get mystery gift.
Bonus Pack
During festive season like Ramadhan and Hari Raya, our company will
offer bonus pack in order to influence people in buying to break fast.
Bonus pack will also be given during event sponsorship to encourage
people buying the product with benefits.
Packaging
Packaging is also one of the advertising technique
use the marketers. There are many reasons for putting
a unique packaging.
One of the disadvantages is to break the cluster.
The packaging method used are based on VIEW model
Use recyclable packaging
Packaging
The item that will be used to make the packaging
is very convenience and good for the
environment. The item which is used in making
SPARTA bottle is very light and easy to dents and
uses less space in the recycle bin
Halal certificates
By asking the certificate of Halal will increase
the confidence of consumer in buying the product.
The Halal certificates is important to cater the large
market of Muslim consumer
Informational
The information will be posted at the labeling of the
SPARTA bottle. The information consists of ingredient
and nutritional fact. In bonus pack, the information about
the additional amount will also be emphasise.
Function of Bottle
In order to support green marketing, the packaging
will focus on recyclable item and for certain packaging is for long term.
The long term packaging can be considered as one way of promoting
green concept which the bottle will last long compared to other isotonic drink.
This will encourage consumer to reuse using the bottle and avoid from over
littering and wasting plastic.
