Option 1 Lesson 2.02 For this activity, you will find a partner and create interview questions to find out about the student and his or her likes and dislikes. You will exchange questions with your partner and answer your partner’s questions via telephone, email, or by instant message. Follow these steps to complete this assignment. Create five questions in Spanish to ask a partner. The questions should include asking your partner his or her name and questions about likes and dislikes related to school. Exchange questions in Spanish with your partner. Answer your partner’s questions via telephone, email, or instant message.
Option 2 Lesson 2.05 You will be working with a partner to exchange information about the imaginary Hispanic schools you each attended as an exchange student in the writing assignment of this lesson. Print the graphic organizer to help you organize your ideas. Create a survey/interview list of questions in English that includes finding out about your partner’s exchange student experience. Make sure to include and ask the following information in the survey: Partner’s name, country where your partner studied, how the school is different from your partner’s school in the U.S. Exchange surveys and answer your partner’s questions in English. You can do this via phone, email, or IM. Create a poster advertising studying at your partner’s exchange student school. You can create your poster on paper and scan it, or you can use software such as PowerPoint, or a Web 2.0 tool. There are many 21st century tools available for creating and submitting work in the online environment. For more information about tools your school recommends, please visit the resource tools area in your course or contact your instructor.
Option 3 Lesson 3.01 Create five interview questions to ask another student. Include the following information: Ask the name of your partner. Ask the name of someone in your partner’s family. Ask for a description of this family member using at least two adjectives. Examples: ¿Cómote llamas? ¿Cómo se llama tu hermana? ¿Cómo es tu hermana? ¿Es simpática? ¿Es inteligente?
Option 4 Lesson 3.06 Create five interview questions in Spanish to ask another student. Include the following information:  Ask the name of your partner. Ask for a description of your partner. Ask the occupation of someone in your partner’s family. Ask for a description of this family member using at least two adjectives. Examples:  ¿Cómote llamas? ¿Cómo eres? ¿Eres alto? ¿Eres moreno? ¿Cuál es la ocupación de tu papá? ¿Cómo es tu papá? ¿Es amable? ¿Es inteligente? 
Option 5 Lesson 4.02 Create at least five interview questions in Spanish about your partner’s home.  Use hay Use a form of the verb estar Include vocabulary learned in the lesson. Examples: ¿Hay un patio en tu casa? ¿Cuántos cuartos hay en tu casa? ¿Dónde está la computadora?
Complete the assessment: 1.  Collaboration Description:  	Describe the lesson or task you completed collaboratively in a paragraph of five or more sentences.    2.  Evaluation:  	Rate your partner(s) on each of the following: *Listened to others  			*Showed respect for others’ opinions  *Completed assigned duties 		*Participated in discussions  *Attended meetings 			*Stayed on Task *Offered relevant information		*Completed work adequately *Completed work on time with no reminders	*Offered appropriate feedback when necessary  3.  Self—Reflection:  	Respond to the following questions in two to three sentences each.  *What did you enjoy most about working with others on this collaboration option? Explain. *How did your team deal with conflict? Explain. *Do you feel others were happy with your participation in this collaboration option? Explain. *What will you do differently, if anything, in your next collaboration option? Explain. *Do you have any additional comments or reflections that you would like to share? 4.   Evidence:  	Provide evidence of collaboration.  Insert your emailed questions or a screen shot of the blog, wiki, IM, discussion area, etc.  5.   Completed Project: 	Finally, insert your questions to your partner and your answers to your partner’s questions.  If you chose option 2.05. attach your poster.

  • 7. Option 1 Lesson 2.02 For this activity, you will find a partner and create interview questions to find out about the student and his or her likes and dislikes. You will exchange questions with your partner and answer your partner’s questions via telephone, email, or by instant message. Follow these steps to complete this assignment. Create five questions in Spanish to ask a partner. The questions should include asking your partner his or her name and questions about likes and dislikes related to school. Exchange questions in Spanish with your partner. Answer your partner’s questions via telephone, email, or instant message.

Option 2 Lesson 2.05 You will be working with a partner to exchange information about the imaginary Hispanic schools you each attended as an exchange student in the writing assignment of this lesson. Print the graphic organizer to help you organize your ideas. Create a survey/interview list of questions in English that includes finding out about your partner’s exchange student experience. Make sure to include and ask the following information in the survey: Partner’s name, country where your partner studied, how the school is different from your partner’s school in the U.S. Exchange surveys and answer your partner’s questions in English. You can do this via phone, email, or IM. Create a poster advertising studying at your partner’s exchange student school. You can create your poster on paper and scan it, or you can use software such as PowerPoint, or a Web 2.0 tool. There are many 21st century tools available for creating and submitting work in the online environment. For more information about tools your school recommends, please visit the resource tools area in your course or contact your instructor.

Ask for a description of this family member using at least two adjectives. Examples: ¿Cómote llamas? ¿Cómo se llama tu hermana? ¿Cómo es tu hermana? ¿Es simpática? ¿Es inteligente?

Ask the occupation of someone in your partner’s family. Ask for a description of this family member using at least two adjectives. Examples: ¿Cómote llamas? ¿Cómo eres? ¿Eres alto? ¿Eres moreno? ¿Cuál es la ocupación de tu papá? ¿Cómo es tu papá? ¿Es amable? ¿Es inteligente?

Explain. *How did your team deal with conflict? Explain. *Do you feel others were happy with your participation in this collaboration option? Explain. *What will you do differently, if anything, in your next collaboration option? Explain. *Do you have any additional comments or reflections that you would like to share? 4. Evidence: Provide evidence of collaboration. Insert your emailed questions or a screen shot of the blog, wiki, IM, discussion area, etc. 5. Completed Project: Finally, insert your questions to your partner and your answers to your partner’s questions. If you chose option 2.05. attach your poster.
