atomic bombs that the commander and chief, and president at the time, Harry Truman, knew
about. President Truman plan was to drop the bombs on two of Japans cities, Hiroshima first
and then Nagasaki. Truman s plans went accordingly, which to this day leads to a very
controversial topic on whether or not dropping the atomic bombs was a good or bad thing.
There is evidence and reasoning to back up both claims, in which everyone is entitled to their
own opinion. However, in my opinion, I believe the choice of Harry Truman to drop the two
atomic bombs was the right choice because it saved lives, helped end the war faster, and it was
merely the only choice for the sake of the American soldiers. During this time there was a lot going
on. A few years before, between the time 1937 and 1941 Japan owned most of the land of East and
Southeast Asia. When the attack of the United Statesin December of 1941 at Pearl Harbor, this

The familiar sound of squealing brakes signaled the beginning of the best part of my night.
Getting out of the house, without a sound, was the tricky part. If I timed it just right, I could use

Summary: Louis Armstrong singing is remarkable. I can understand why he inspired so many

In this report I shall be discussing the historical context of the development of graphic novels
that changed in the last three decades. The visual language has shifted art styles and developed
different opinions on what are proper storytelling and a comic. I shall be analysing what is the
visual language for graphic novels. After analysing the visual language I shall be comparing to
an illustrator and artist, Dave McKean. He is a personal interest that has influenced my art style
for two years in generating Gothic, dark toned imagery. McKean has developed a unique visual
language towards comic and graphic novels, questioning if we could further beyond the usual

potent compounds which have useful applications both in agriculture and human health. However,
developmental progress comes with risks and unforeseen consequences. The correlation between
the introduction of pesticides into our environment, and the subsequent environmental impacts has
