Primary School no 1 in Gostynin
Home Army's Primary School no 1 is a state school in a
picturesque town called Gostynin in central Poland.
There are 570 students aged 5-12 in the school.
There are 3 preschool groups consisting of 74 5-6
year-old pupils.
The institution employs 45 well-qualified and experienced
teachers.
The school provides perfect conditions for students'
physical and intellectual development. It is equipped with a
gym, physiotherapy room, drama classroom, football pitch,
two computer labs and classrooms designed especially for
each subject.
The school does its best to ensure that all students have
equal and appropriate learning environment, it teaches
tolerance and tries to integrate students.
There are numerous extra-curricular activities that help
pupils develop their interests.
Teachers organize trips to integrate pupils.
The school has participated in two Comenius projects, the
first project concerned tolerance, the second was about
European Children's Rights. It was a valuable experience,
thanks to which both students and teachers learned a lot
and had an opportunity to travel all over Europe.
