Sound job roles
1. Sound notes
In musicals they create a sound scape
They have around 40 microphones, which go under the
costume, on a belt, and come up onto the face. Some of
the cast will wear two microphones in case one breaks.
They have loads of speakers meaning you don’t need to
make the music and actors really loud.
The sound mixer needs to know; the script, the actors
and the orchestra.
To make certain words more clear at the end of the
word they’ll turn the mics up.
