1. Tower Safety
 Is it tagged?
- The tower should have a tag on it to show that
it is in safe condition to use. Do not use the
tower if the tag is not in place or it has a RED
‘DO NOT USE’ sign.
 Check for suitable conditions
 Apply 3 points of contact
 Adhere to SWL values
 Side loading- equipment goes through the hatch
when appropriate. No side loading over 20kg
 Maximum of 2 people on the tower at one time
 Carry light tools only- try not to have them in
hands
 When moving the tower- work in pairs to pull
the tower
 Always return the outriggers to the appropriate
positions
 Brakes must be engaged to work on the tower
