- Hands, knees, feet
 Overreaching
- If you are overreaching ether get another
ladder or move the positioning of the ladder
 Always have a spotter
- Having a spotter means someone is always
watching you and staberlising the ladder
 Only carry light tools up the ladder
- Its important to try not to carry anything up
the ladder
 Minimise ladder time
- Try and complete as much as you can on the
floor rather than on the ladder
 Do not work or stand on the top three steps
unless there is another suitable hand hold
