This document summarizes two eTwinning projects conducted at a Special Education Center in Poland that involved students with intellectual disabilities. The first project from 2013 was called "OUR LITTLE BIG WORLD" and had students from Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic learn English vocabulary about topics like school, family, holidays through activities like creating Christmas and Easter cards. The second project from 2014-2015 paired with a school in France called "With a book in your schoolbag" and focused on developing reading skills in teenagers with disabilities. Both projects helped the students learn new vocabulary and skills in English, art, and technology while also developing their manual, social, and reading abilities.

4. In 2013 we did a project

The project was awarded with
eTwinning Quality label in Poland.

5. Activities in the project were defined in the work
schedule and divided by monthly intervals. Each
school involved in the project had to carry out the
same tasks related to the learning of individual
words in English on the following topics:
 This is our school, this is our class, and here
we are,
 We prepare Christmas cards,
 My favorite pet,
 In a healthy body - healthy spirit,
 Easter,
 My family

Mentally disabled pupils learnt new English

We did a project with a school

The project was titled „With a
