How confident are you in your relationship with God? Do you know that you know Him? Do you know that you are going to be with Him in heaven for eternity?
Act 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Act 20:35 "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Lesson by Mike Smith In 1 John 5:1-6 we are shown how to overcome the world. Come and see how you can overcome through your obedient faith in Jesus Christ.
1 Cor. 1:9-10 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Why did God give the Law - so high, So demanding, So unreasonable humanly speaking that no body (no man, no woman, no boy, no girl) has ever been able to keep them?
The Bible - The Life Instruction ManualDon McClain
"The Bible - The Life Instruction Manual" - The Bible contains necessary information & instructions that we MUST know if we are to get out of this world alive. Some ridicule the idea of the Bible being our instruction manual, but what does the Bible say?
Saved Like Noah - [Baptism also now saves us … 1 Peter 3:18-22] Don McClain
“Saved Like Noah" - [Baptism also now saves us … 1 Peter 3:18-22] - Many strive to explain the apostle Peter’s words in the above text in ways that negate that which he affirms. This study is a detailed examination of this text — 1) what is meant by the type / antitype construction of verses 20 and 21? — 2) What does Peter mean when he says, “baptism also now saves us?” — 3) What is the meaning of the parenthetical phrase "(not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God)? - I realize many may disagree with the conclusions we have reached, but I pray that all will prayerfully and sincerely consider this study and accept that which is the truth. Is eternal existence possible? Here are four reasons why it is not only possible, not only probable, but guaranteed:
1. God's love desires it - He loves us and wants to be with us forever!
2. The power of God can give it - He who created us has the power to give us eternal life!
3. The justice of God demands it - Both the saved and the lost will have eternal existence. The choice of where we spend eternity is ours to make.
4. The faithfulness of god will make it happen - God has not failed to make good on one promise! If He promised eternal life (and He did) then He will make it happen!

(Successful Preachers in The Bible) — When it come to “preaching,” most measure success VERY differently from how God measures it! Most people are advocates of style over substance, smiles instead of rebuke, embelished emotional storys rather than scripture, compromise without the bold proclamation of truth. “The Nature of Saving FAITH” (2)— (Romans 3:19-5:5) In Romans 4 Paul is contrasting two opposing SYSTEMS, “FAITH & WORKS.” The “works” system cannot save a sinner because it demands perfection - and no amount of work can undo the sinners sin. The “Faith” system on the other hand implements forgiveness through Jesus thus providing justification on the grounds of God’s grace. In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docx
Some things we can know
1. Do You Know God?
Are You Confident of Your Relationship With God?
Are You Confident That You Are Going To Heaven?
2. We live in a very
uncertain world!
Economic turmoil –
Natural Disasters –
Our own health and the
health of those we love -
The uncertainty of life
itself -
3. We live in a very
uncertain world!
Ecclesiastes 1:13-14 (NKJV)
13 And I set my heart to seek and
search out by wisdom concerning all
that is done under heaven; this
burdensome task God has given to
the sons of man, by which they may
be exercised. 14 I have seen all the
works that are done under the sun;
and indeed, all is vanity and grasping
for the wind.
4. That something cannot come
from nothing –
That every effect must have an
adequate cause –
That all things material are in
a state of entropy –
Good health and life on earth
will end for everyone -
5. Psalms 100:3 (NKJV)
3 Know that the LORD, He is
God; It is He who has made
us, and not we ourselves; We
are His people and the sheep
of His pasture.
6. John 6:68-69 (NKJV)
68 But Simon Peter answered Him,
"Lord, to whom shall we go? You
have the words of eternal life. 69
Also we have come to believe and
know that You are the Christ, the
Son of the living God."
7. Psalms 19:7 (NKJV)
7 The law of the LORD is
perfect, converting the
soul; The testimony of the
LORD is sure, making
wise the simple;
8. Numbers 32:23 (NKJV)
23 But if you do not do so,
then take note, you have
sinned against the LORD;
and be sure your sin will
find you out.
9. Romans 2:2-3 (NKJV)
2 But we know that the judgment of
God is according to truth against
those who practice such things. 3
And do you think this, O man, you
who judge those practicing such
things, and doing the same, that you
will escape the judgment of God?
10. Galatians 6:7-8 (NKJV)
7 Do not be deceived, God is not
mocked; for whatever a man sows,
that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of
the flesh reap corruption, but he
who sows to the Spirit will of the
Spirit reap everlasting life.
11. Proverbs 11:18 (NKJV)
18 The wicked man does
deceptive work, But he
who sows righteousness
will have a sure reward.
12. Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
28 And we know that all things
work together for good to
those who love God, to those
who are the called according to
His purpose.
13. 2 Corinthians 5:1 (NKJV)
1 For we know that if our
earthly house, this tent, is
destroyed, we have a building
from God, a house not made
with hands, eternal in the
heavens.
14. First John is written as a
response to some of the
errors of Gnosticism –
John emphasizes that
there are indeed things
that we as Christians can
know -
The word “know” appears
39 times in this epistle –

others) - 1 John 3:16-18

Our Prayers

21. 1 John 5:18-20 (NKJV)
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not
sin; but he who has been born of God keeps
himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 19
We know that we are of God, and the whole world
lies under the sway of the wicked one. 20 And we
know that the Son of God has come and has given
us an understanding, that we may know Him who
is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son
Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
