Software is a general term for the
various kinds of programs used to
operatecomputers and related
devices.
Software can be thought of as the
variable part of a computer.
Software is often divided
into application software
(programs that do work users are
directly interested in)
and system software (which
includes operating systems and
any program that supports
application software).

Free software is computer software that
respect the liberty of all the users. This
software would be one whose author is
donated to humanity or whose copyright
has expired, after a longer period after his
death

According to this definition, a software is "free"
when it guarantees the following freedoms.
1. The freedom to run the program, for any purpose.
2. The freedom to study how the program works and

modify it, adapt it to your needs. The freedom to study
