Other social mediasearch engines • This is a very volatile area • Search engines rely on the network platform to allow access • Social networks tend to have a short but busy life • Don’t get attached to any of them • Remember that it’s normally private individuals providing content so there’s no guarantee of accuracy

Don’t forget! • Thereare plenty of other social media sites and platforms that we haven’t discussed • Search functionality on these sites may be very poor • You may have better luck with a Google site: search instead • Great for keeping up to date with today’s news • Not so great at accuracy and veracity
