Responsibilities- Connect the target population of public housing (New York City Housing
Authority) and the surrounding community to resources, organizations and services to promote and
assistthe goals of self-sufficiency.
 Represent the organization at community events,trips, workshops,providing information about
OBCDC when conducting outreach
 Attend resident association,schoolparent, PTA meetings
 Facilitate monthly Rockaway Council of Presidents Meetings (6 NYCHA housing communities)
 Enter , track and follow up clients through the Apricot case management system
 Refer clients to organizations providing additional resources & services
 Attend community partnership meetings, such as the Far Rockaway/Arverne Non-profit Coalition.
 Seek new referral organizations providing services and establish (MOU’s) Memorandum of
Understanding
 Write and update Standard Operating Procedures as needed
 Conduct weekly Orientation sessions
 Submit monthly and other specified activity reports to direct reports
 Assist and/orcomplete applications for housing,Food Stamps, Social Security, health insurance
