questions.

3.  You need at least one book for research.
 Write down the following information for
every book you use:
Title, Author, Year of publication and
publisher. Ask for help to find this
information.

4.  Go to the Destiny homepage, click on the
catalog tab and type your keyword in the
search bar. Make sure Book is selected
under Material type.
 Click on the keyword icon.
 Scroll through results. For more
information about a title, click on the title.
 Write down the call number and title.
Look for a book

5.  You also need at least one internet
resource. For all internet resources, go to
the Destiny homepage.

6.  Login using following information:
Username: hami123
Password: student
Go to following folder: Banks
Select your topic.
If your topic is not listed, search
NetTrekker. (ask for help if needed)

7.  Remember, do not write down whole
sentences.
 Read to locate relevant information.
 Read through a paragraph before taking
notes.
 Write down keywords, fact fragments,
snippets of information. (Think of your
questions when collecting information)

important.
 Make sure you write down every source
you use.
 In NetTrekker, write down the URL (I will
show you).
 Britannica Elementary helps you by citing
in the correct format; scroll to bottom of
page (article) or click on tab (pictures).

9.  You can save articles in your own
workspace.
 You have to log in with your username
and password to use this.
 Create your workspace, and a project
name.
 Save articles and pictures so you can get
to them afterwards.
 Ask for help if you need it!
