Shantha Sinha is a renowned social reformer from India who has focused her efforts on children's rights and education. She helped establish universal elementary education and fought against child labor. As the founder of the Mamidipudi Venkatarangaiya Foundation and director of the Shramik Vidya Peeth, Sinha has advocated for disadvantaged children. The Government of India appointed her as the first chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
