1. Naveen Jindal: Turning Dreams into Reality
The name Naveen Jindal needs no introduction today. He is the ruling Congress
party MP from Kurukshetra, Haryana. He is the son of late Sri O P Jindal and the
current Chairman of Jindal Steel and Power Limited. Despite owning an empire
worth $17 billion, this young parliamentarian is a humble man to the core and
describes himself as a friend of all the needy people. He is desirous of development
of our nation and the people. He is not just an entrepreneur par excellence but also a
philanthropist active in many diverse fields of education, health, environment,
population control, women’s empowerment, and uplift of the poor and the
backwards.
Naveen Jindal has all along been leading from the front but he desires to be merely
a tool for change. He is the first Indian to have a school of management in US
named after him. He was once a student at the University of Texas at Dallas but the
same university has today named its school of management after his name. This
honor has been bestowed upon him in recognition of his initiatives in diverse fields of
human welfare and public service in India. He is widely recognized as an honest
man with high values.
Naveen Jindal believes that it is only education that can lead India on the path of
development. He has taken many initiatives that have led to the establishment of
