Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Lakshyam NGO: Empowering Lives, One Step at a Time
1. BEST SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS IN INDIA
Everybody around us knows and sees the problems that prevail in our
country. We do, too. We think about it, spread awareness around it, but
rarely do anything about it. But, there are some individuals who refuse
to sit idly-by and went ahead to bring the change they wanted to see.
These are the social entrepreneurs of India who are motivated purely
by empathy, but refuse to sympathise. They believe in justice and are
ready to take on the challenge to change destinies, without asking for
anything in return. Sharad Vivek Sagar is one such individual.
Sharad founded “Dexterity Global'' at the age of 16, and has since
worked to make children from the remotest of areas, meet
opportunities they never thought they would. He has helped more than
1.2 million students get an education, as he believes that children with
the right education is the only thing that will change the world. Sharad
has been invited by the former U.S president, Barack Obama, to the
white house for an inaugural ceremony and the Rockefeller foundation
also included him in the list of 100 next century innovators. We can’t
thank him enough. Another such individual is Karthik Naralasetty.
Karthik started a venture which connected the people in need of blood
donors, to the donors on facebook. “Social blood” has partnered with
several blood banks in the U.S.A and has helped over 300,000 people.
Forbes has featured Karthik in their 30 under 30 innovators list on two
separate occasions. Ria Sharma was in India to film a documentary
about acid victims; but she did not stop there. She founded “Make love
not scars”. This crowd-funded organization supports victims of acid
attacks in all ways possible. They help these victims portray their talents
2. and urge organizations to hire them. In 2015, MLNS started a campaign
called End Acid Sale, with the aim of putting a ban on the retail sale of
acids. It became the first Indian campaign in 7 years to win the Cannes
Gold Lion in film. In 2016, Ria was awarded with the British Council’s
Social Impact Award. In 2017, she became the first ever Indian to be
awarded the United Nations Goalkeeper Global Award. Agnishwar
Jyaprakash was a world swimming champion who had a fame-filled
future ahead of him. But he abandoned that and decided to empower
the youth of India. He founded “Ignite-India”, a nationwide platform for
students to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in high schools
and colleges. Ignite India connected with over 7000 schools across the
country and has been recognized as one of the best socioe-conomic
educational movements there is by the United Nations.
Aarushi Batra, along with three of her friends, founded “Robin Hood
Army”. This volunteer-based organization aims at providing surplus
food to the less fortunate. The volunteers of this organization collect
food from restaurants and weddings, pack it with proper hygiene and
distribute it among the poor. Robin Hood Army is spread over 60 cities
and provided food to over 5 million people world wide. Aarushi along
with her 14000 members continue to set new benchmarks and feed as
many mouths as they can. Nivesh Raj started “Step Up For Healthy
India'', an organization which aims to provide basics of health and
sanitation to the underprivileged. Nivesh has also started a program
called “the leadership 30”, which aims at nurturing students who can
become leaders of tomorrow and shape this country around the 17
Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. This
program is the first of its kind in India and only Second in the world.
Chetan Gowda started “Khoon”, an NGO which devotes itself in
3. providing blood to the needy. In the past 2 years, Khoon has helped
more than 50,000 people. It can provide blood to any part of the
country in less than an hour. Chetan has been named as one of the
most influential people in the social sector in India under the age of 21
by Youth for Seva. He is currently an Ashoka youth venture and believes
has a lot more to offer to his country. Piyush Ghosh is the founder of
“The Optimist Citizen”, India’s first ever only positive newspaper. This
newspaper only publishes positive and inspiring stories from all over
the country. It lets the nation know about the people who are making a
difference out there but are not getting recognized for it. The
newspaper takes care to inspire the people with good realities, so they
can decide to work for the bad ones. Olivia Deka, being a sufferer of
depression, realised how there were many more suffering like her but
were not being addressed. She started “She for Change” an
organization devoted to helping girls to find their voice in this society
and to make them feel empowered. She believes that gender gap can
be bridged by having more deserving women in leadership roles and
that’s what she’s working towards.
Dhruv Lakra came up with the idea of finding a place where deaf
people can work and their skills can be put to use, and this is how
“Mirakle Couriers” was born. It started with three employees and now it
has over 50 employees out of which only three are not deaf. Today,
Mirakle couriers handles more than 65000 deliveries per month to
more than 40 companies. Dhruv came up with this idea by being
inspired while working in an NGO. There are many such NGOs started
by social entrepreneurs who have taken on making a change in the
country. One such entrepreneur is Mr. Raashi Anand, founder of
Lakshyam- an organization which has vowed to put an end to the
4. widespread violation of people’s fundamental rights, especially of
women and street children across India. They deeply aim to empower
the needy through education and employment by implementing
models of development that are tailored to the needs of the
communities and are sustainable and replicable. Ms. Raashi Aanand
stands today as one of the most impactful young women making social
changes and is ranked amongst the top social entrepreneurs in India
since 2013.
Social entrepreneurs are just people who decided to do something
about what wasn’t right. They are the right people to get inspired by.
