This document contains a student's journal submission for a social psychology course. It includes four sections that define and provide examples of different types of social behaviors:
1) Social facilitation - Doing better on simple tasks when observed by others due to performing tasks they are already good at. The student describes their SPM examination experience.
2) Sociocultural perspective - How surrounding social and cultural factors influence individual behaviors.
3) Social influences - Changes in individual thoughts, feelings or behaviors from interacting with others or groups, distinct from conformity, power or authority.
4) Extrinsic motivation - Doing something for an external reward or to avoid punishment rather than internal satisfaction.
