Social Media

Facebook
Facebook allows any person to share whatever their heart desires. On
Facebook, people can share their favorite photos, family photos, recent
photos, and so much more. The same is true for videos and random
news/thoughts. Facebook is easy to use. To upload a photo or video, they
have an upload link on the home page (timeline).
Twitter
In my opinion, twitter is easier to use. You will find that with each different
social media website, they name the way they upload things differently. For
twitter, to share a thought, photo or video, you have to make a “tweet”.
Once you make this tweet, anyone that looks you up or follows you can see
it, unless your privacy settings are turned on.
Instagram
Instagram is different than Facebook and Twitter. The difference is that
Instagram is for pictures and videos only. People make accounts to upload
their own photos/videos and share them with the world. Instagram does
allow you to follow other people so that you can see pictures and videos
from every person you follow on your home page.
Same/Different
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are the same in several ways. All three are used
to connect with people and share your own personal thoughts. Both Facebook and
Twitter allow you to upload a thought, photo, or video. You can even upload a link
to new music that you found!
The differences occur in the technical aspects of each website. Obviously the
names are different. Facebook has the “What’s on your mind?” that’s used to
upload all of these things. Twitter calls it a “tweet” to do the exact same thing.
Instagram is different from both of the previous two social media websites though
because you are only allowed to upload pictures and videos as opposed to
uploading a thought.
