Given that insufficient young people are choosing to study STEM subjects and that the profile of those who do pursue STEM careers is too narrow, we are challenging three very different providers of informal science communication to measure the impact of their work. Creative Partnerships Lithuania 2013 year
The Creative Partnerships project aims to foster creativity in Lithuanian schools through collaboration between schools, creative professionals, and regional partners. Over three school years, the project involved about 200 creators, more than 100 schools, 1000 teachers, and 4000 students. The project creates a space for teachers and students to explore new approaches to learning, with a focus on developing creativity, creative skills, and a creative mindset. Through activities led by creative professionals, the goal is for creativity to become an everyday practice in schools.

Curriculum gap due to lost in translation highlights critical disjoint in assessment of creativity- 'where is the imagination'. Grounded on practical challenges of implementation coupled with the lack of press to support fostering of imagination, students are often crippled or even discouraged to break out of the box. Solutions proposed often lack the disruptive or thirst for greater novelty. An impt aspect of how we can re-think assessing creativity with helping students to better appreciate standards we expect and challenge them to push for new ideas or challenge status quo.
The author advocates the use of Lesson Study for Learning Communities to encourage teachers to dive deep into assessing students' authentic ideas as a key driver to enhance intellectual quality of learning.

Teachers were inquiring about how to increase digital literacy in their classrooms given time constraints. It was suggested that teachers build a personal learning network (PLN) by sharing ideas and collaborating on projects, activities, and lessons using new technologies. This would allow teachers to learn from each other, model digital skills for students, and shift learning to be more active. Next steps included continuing self-directed professional development using social media platforms to expand PLNs and implement new digital literacies in the classroom.
